He was born on March 1, 1952 in Santiago.

At the age of 14 he begins playing music.

-2017 He becames a member of La Real Orquesta Cuba

-2008, returns to Cuba and begins to work with the Chepín Choven Orchestra and the Provincial Concert Band, participating in national tours and other events and activities.

-1997 to 2007 he is based in Spain playing in different groups of that country.

-1986 He is a member of the Gloria Latina Orchestra providing dance music in Cuba, abroad as in several Provinces of Spain.

-1972 begins in the Orquesta Los Taínos and Orquesta de Música Moderna. with the Orquesta Los Taínos participates in various events, festivals, international tours to Venezuela, Panama, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Poland, the Soviet Union and Canada.  

-1969 joins the Military Service and is part of the Army Music Band.
