In April 2010 producers Aldo Medina (CUBA) and Laura Agustín (Spain), together with French cameramen Franck Kone and Alexis Daire, travel to Santiago de Cuba to make a documentary about the roots of traditional music in the eastern region of the country. The documentary also chronicles the founding of the Real Orquesta Cuba(ROC), highlighting their members as well as the music and dance traditions of Santiago de Cuba.
